Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked speculation about a potential move to Manchester City, refusing to rule out joining the Premier League champions.

Pep Guardiola's City are having an awful season, with one win in their last 13 matches, and clearly need all the help they can get to overcome this poor run.

Ronaldo was speaking at the Globe Soccer Awards when he was asked if he would consider giving City a "helping hand" to turn their season around.

Ronaldo to Manchester City?

"The football is like... you never know what is going to happen," the Al Nassr captain said, leaving the door open for a possible transfer.

When pressed for a clearer answer, with the presenter noting "that's not a no!", Ronaldo simply laughed and declined to elaborate.

While Manchester City are one of the few European clubs that could afford Ronaldo's wages, there is currently no indication that they are interested in signing the 39-year-old striker.

Speaking about City's struggles, CR7 backed Pep to bounce back, saying;
