Bruno Fernandes branded 'petty' and 'embarrassing' for Man Utd ...

Bruno Fernandes has been hammered after he tried to claim a penalty for his side against Arsenal.

The Portuguese midfielder has proved to be key since his arrival at Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon in 2020 but is known to be a player who can navigate the dark arts of s***housery and it proved to be true when he called for a penalty at the Emirates.

The 28-year-old appealed for a penalty within the first ten minutes of the match as he chased a parried ball from Ramsdale before clattering into the English shotstopper.

Fernandes quickly turned to referee Anthony Taylor appealing for a spot kick before it was waved away. Fans didn't take lightly to the player screaming for a penalty.

Rashford scored a sensational screamer where he nutmegged Thomas Partey before slotting home from outside the box. Arsenal quickly pulled level when Eddie Nketiah nodded home from closer range.

Bukayo Saka put the home side ahead in spectacular fashion with low driven effort in the second half, similar to Rashford, sending the home end berserk.
