Benjamin Sesko to Chelsea transfer: Man United battle, player stance, RB Salzburg price tag
Chelsea's summer transfer window is starting to heat up as Thomas Tuchel looks to improve his squad for the upcoming season. Three signings have been made so far, with the Blues hoping to be challenging for the Premier League title once again this campaign.
While there are plenty of thoughts surrounding the need to be competitive this season, the club also seem to be taking a look to the future with some of their business. Promising goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina has joined from Chicago Fire, while a fee has been agreed with Aston Villa for midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka as well as reported interest in Inter Milan wonderkid Cesare Casadei.
It shows that new owner Todd Boehly is looking to build the foundations for the future, with the latest link being RB Salzburg's Benjamin Sesko. The 19-year-old has impressed for the Austrian outfit, attracting attention from plenty of top sides.

With that said, here's a look at the latest on the youngster's move to Chelsea.
Defensa Central reports that RB Salzburg will not let the player leave for less than €50million this summer. It's a huge price tag for a promising player, dubbed affectionately as the "next Erling Haaland" as he follows a similar route to stardom as the Norwegian.
While RB Salzburg are hoping to keep hold of the 19-year-old for another season, Fabrizio Romano claims that the decision over a move is down to the player. The report adds that the next few days will be crucial to a transfer away from Austria, which may tell the Blues whether they have managed to land him or not.
Manchester United interest
With a prospect as exciting as Sesko, there isn't only the Blues eyeing a move this summer. According to reports, Premier League rivals Manchester United are also looking at a move for the Slovenia international, with their need to strengthen up front for the future.
Chelsea held a meeting with the agent of Benjamin Sesko last week, according to Fabrizio Romano. The striker is said to be of interest to the Blues as they look to improve their forward line for the future.
