Gareth Bale Will Need To Wait 'At Least A Month' Before Making His Debut For Spurs
By Mike Parrott
Gareth Bale has returned to Tottenham Hotspur injured after Spurs diagnosed it in his medical, according to reports in Spain.
With the 31-year-old set to return after his seven-year stint at Real Madrid, it appears Bale may have to wait another month.
This comes after it was revealed that Bale will miss his first month at the club after Spurs diagnosed an injury to the winger in his medical.
The Welshman underwent his medical on Friday with him and Sergio Reguilon joining Spurs from Madrid.
According to Spanish publication Marca, the Spurs medical team has had a look at the 31-year-old's injury and determined he will be out for as many as four weeks.
It appears that the club knew this may be in the case in advance, meaning the £20 million loan transfer will still go through.

According to @marca, Gareth Bale is currently injured and will be out for at least four weeks. The Spurs medical team confirmed this during his tests there. It's why he was training inside the gym during the last few days at Madrid. #THFC- Andrew Gaffney (@GaffneyVLC) September 18, 2020
Took Real Madrid 48 years to win 4 European Cups/Champions Leagues before Gareth Bale arrived. Bale won 4 in 5 seasons and twice scored final-winning goals. Respect. pic.twitter.com/PjXSe9YKQG- Phil Blanche (@philblanche) September 18, 2020
