VIDEO: Mohamed Sherif scores against Al-Hilal to end goal drought

Al-Khaleej forward Mohamed Sherif has netted his fourth goal of the Saudi Pro League campaign in their 4-1 defeat to Al-Hilal.
The Dammam-based outfit hosted leaders Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League’s 27th round on Friday evening at the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Stadium.
Mohamed Sherif made his 20th start of the season as he faced Al-Hilal’s centre-back partnership of Kalidou Koulibaly and Ali Al-Bulayhi.
It only took Al-Hilal under seven minutes to break the deadlock with Saleh Al-Shehri taking advantage of a huge blunder by Al-Khaleej goalkeeper Ibrahim Šehić.

However, the home side quickly responded and found the leveller seconds later through Sherif’s header from a sublime cross by Fábio Martins.
The goal meant that Sherif ended his ten-game drought in the league with his last strike dating back to December of last year in their 3-1 win over Abha.
Despite his equaliser, Al-Hilal dominated the game and went on to seal a 4-1 victory through a Malcom brace and a late penalty from Abdullah Al-Hamdan.
